(SUPER late post)

WOW. Thank God. We just finished our 2nd to the last exam in mandsci (yeah…) and it’s time to relax and have fun fun fun. Our school will be holding its first musikwela this Saturday at 7 pm and the guest band is spongecola. I am still deciding if I should go or what because it will be held somewhere in mandaluyong (specifically the mandaluyong gym) and according to some, the concert might end at around 11 pm and that will be pretty late and pretty dangerous for me because I live in san juan.

So the division game started yesterday and there were some visitors from la salle and Lourdes who went at our school but I’m not that curious because I don’t know them. Well, just sharing.

Jade will be lending me her dvd of spring waltz (hooray Daniel Henney ) and her dvd of Coffee Prince (yippee for Arthur!). Some of my classmates (including me) are all addicted with koreanovelas right now. Don’t ask me why. It’s not that I am affected by colonial mentality but our teleseryes right now are pretty lame. No offense. The plot is always the same and the endings can be predicted easily. Add a little spice to it and I’ll watch it again and PLEASE what’s with the revival of old shows? Why not show a new kind of flick? Enough with the captain barbell meets darna and other reruns please.

Now, I am here in front of my computer with my psp and with my favorite pillow, sipping iced tea, feeling a little sleepy and downloading some songs. 4 in the morning by gwen stefani is nice but TATTOO by jordin sparks is BETTER.

Speaking of Jordin Sparks, American Idol is back and now on its 7th season. I need to watch it.

There’s this one person that I always see every Sunday when I go to church. I don’t know but there is something about him that seems very familiar. I feel like I’ve seen him somewhere but I can’t really remember where, when and how. There are times when I really want to approach him thinking that MAYBE the answer to my question would suddenly come to me but because I am SHY *bear it* I will never ever do it...

Another year, another brand new start.

The year 2007 -as far as I am concern – was very very unforgettable. The year was filled with laughter, tears, and other new emotions that I can’t seem to identify. It was not my best year yet I bid goodbye to 2007 like it was an old friend who had tried and tested me for 12 short months. Short but very meaningful. Short but very wonderful. Short yet I know from the bottom of my heart that I learned lots of new lessons which can improve my worth as a friend, as a daughter, as a sister, as a Christian and as a person. Now that year 2008 is finally here, I know that another epoch in my life will be unfolded. This is the year wherein I need to say see you soon (not goodbye) and bunch of thanks to those who are very very important to me. I will be leaving the people who had helped me for four long years of studying, hoping, cramming, waiting and discovering.

I am looking forward to the new adventures that will arise now that 2008 is here. May it be easy or difficult, I know that I can handle it as long as there is trust, faith and love for nothing is impossible in the eyes of God.

God Bless You All and Have a Fruitful 2008.

Thank you to everybody who made me smile, laugh, cry, and me feel very very special. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH.

Irish’s Self-realization for the year 2007

  1. Have an organized schedule.
  2. Learn to follow your schedule
  3. Be punctual at all times
  4. Stop, Think and Bite your lip before saying anything to avoid mistakes.
  5. Learn to say you’re sorry (and mean it)
  6. Mean what you say and say what you mean (learned this from Mrs. Tirones)
  7. Learn to wait. Some things are worth the wait.
  8. We all have our own time to shine. It’s all about the right moment AND the right timing.
  9. You can’t impress everyone.
  10. First impressions don’t last
  11. Be yourself. People can’t change you. You are your own person.
  12. Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission.
  13. Not all that you see and you hear are true
  14. Don’t let your bottled up feelings control you.
  15. SMILE is the best apparel a person can wear
  16. Don’t trust just anybody.
  17. REAL friends come and go and COME again. They will never leave you no matter where you are, no matter whom you had been with, no matter whatever had happen between you and that friend.
  18. Love waits. Love is patient. Love is kind. Everyone has his/her own soul mate. It is up to you on how you will find that person who will complete you.
  19. Life is too short to be wasted on things that aren’t worth your time.
  20. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
  21. Everyone has his or her own faults. Nobody is perfect. (I am nobody… so does that makes me perfect? Haha. Kidding.)
  22. Don’t let a person be your world
  23. You don’t need to change just to fit in.
  24. Sometimes, being alone does not guarantee you that you don’t have any friends. It just makes up for the time when you were happy and you forgot that there is a God who had been with you through thick and through thin.
  25. LIVE LIFE don’t be contented in just existing
  26. Sometimes, you need to lose somebody before knowing that person’s true importance.
  27. Don’t be fool by a person’s looks
  28. The eyes are the mirror of a person’s innermost thoughts and innermost feelings.
  29. Don’t be too moody. You might hurt people in the process.
  30. Know your priorities.
  31. You need to sacrifice to be able to transform into a better person
  32. Quiet people are very interesting to talk to. They understand you more.
  33. People have their own masks. Behind it lurks a sad story, a hopeful one, and happy endings.
  34. Not all understands you
  35. You can’t change the world BUT you can make a difference.
  36. Labeling people is so not cool. Why is it so in?
  37. NOT all popular people are role models.
  38. ALWAYS EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
  39. Be patient
  40. Learn to say thank you
  41. There is always room for improvement
  42. Avoid being judgmental
  43. Everything begins at home
  44. Leave your FOOTPRINTS in the sand NOT the heel of your shoe
  45. You get what you give

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

FINALLY!!!

This week was really a blast. We had our school fair (which I skipped) because I need to buy gifts for my friends. I went to school around 3 pm to watch the battle of the bands and LUCKILY, my friends won. Some said that it was an unfair decision but that’s fine with us since everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. So… (Fast forward please)

CHRISTMAS PARTY!

Yey! Our party started a little late but I arrived around 7:30 a.m. (I think) and I saw my CRUSH (yeah)!! Since my classmates are oh-so-punctual we started around 9 or 10. We were already hungry at that time so after a couple of games we decided to EAT, EAT and INDULGE. After eating, we played again, did a little intermission number, exchanged gifts, then ATE again. PIGS! lol. Of course I am kidding.

Right now. Right at this point in time, I know that (I just know it) Joseph must be reading the book that I gave to him. Hahaha! So joseph, how’s veronika? Nyahaha. BTW, thanks to those people who gave me gifts especially the unexpected ones. Thanks. SUPER. I really really appreciated it.

Before our party ended, the hugging and the let’s-get-emotional part happened. Everybody was hugging and kissing. Some got teary-eyed but covered it up with their sunglasses while some shamelessly showed the world their tears. Aww. This is our last party in mandsci. BOOHOO!

Well, A Happy Christmas To All!
